The FOGO Rub

FOGO has some of the most unique seasonings you can find. I add this to most items I grill. I just got the Chimichurri and look forward to trying it too!

An excellent rub. Just enough bite to make it interesting but not overbearing.

I used the rub on a whole locally raised chicken. Applied the after using the duck spray and refrigerated for 4 hours. Removed for 2 hours and cooked on my weber charcoal grill using Fogo charcoal. End result the taste was very disappointing; I expected a very flavorful chicken but that didn't happen.

I didn't realize there was charcoal in it. I don't eat that...no reason. Pitched it in the trash can. Make your own judgements on the stuff.

My two sons got me the Fogo rub for Christmas (along with the Christmas bag of charcoal). Tried it on an 11 lb brisket on my Weber kettle. Made a fantastic bark and tasted great. Will try on ribs and pork butt next.
