I bought this as something to have on hand for "emergency gifting" or a grab-bag. Fortunately I couldn't resist and had to try it. It packs some heat but not so much that it stopped me from putting a pinch on my tongue! NICE and spicy! The spice and savory salt lend it to use anywhere I would normally use salt and hot-sauce. The advantage here is it doesn't add extra moisture to recipes so I can pretty much do a direct substitution.

Going to be trying some of the other flavors, too.

I have only tried this once - as an addition to my usual rub on a pork chop. It is very spicy when tasted alone, but after cooking, it really added another layer of flavor without being too pronounced. Definitely recommend trying this salt...
