Our Big Chef knife is a must-have item in any kitchen, whether it's for professional chefs or home cooks alike. The knife is one of the most versatile pieces of cutlery in our culinary line. With a 9” broad blade and ergonomic design, the Big Chef is ideal for chopping, slicing, and dicing practically anything from vegetables to tough meats. At 13.75” in overall length and a weight of 11.65 ounces, this knife is as comfortable in the hand as it is capable of tasks big and small. The Elmax steel used in the construction of this workhorse features all the high end qualities of the latest industry super steels, featuring long lasting edge retention, ease of sharpening and reliable corrosion resistance with reasonable care. Each Big Chef comes with a molded kydex sleeve for blade protection during storage and safety during travel. The Black and Gray models come with a black kydex and the Seafoam and White models come with a tan kydex.
